VLAN Explained

VLANs are a fundamental component in modern enterprise networks. They allow network administrators to segment a physical network into multiple logical networks. This segmentation enhances security, performance, and manageability. By separating users, devices, or departments into different VLANs, companies can isolate sensitive data, control access, and reduce the risk of broadcast storms. For example, a company can place finance, HR, and IT departments in separate VLANs. This prevents unnecessar
