生命周期假说，是指美国莫迪利安尼等人提出的消费理论。该假说认为理性的消费者要根据自己一生得到的劳动收入和财产收入来安排一生的消费，并希望一生中各个时期消费能够平稳，使自己一生的消费支出等于一生所得到的劳动收入与财产收入之和。
